New Prespas Festival : transported one day later

 

"Prespes" after one day

The "New Prespas Festival " ,will take place one day later, this year, because of the adverse weather forecasts for the night Friday, August 21 when it was scheduled to premiere. So, the show "Arhaio Aima"(Ancient Blood) and the concert of Savvina Giannatou , will take place in Agios Ahilleios on Saturday 22 August at 21:00 and the concert of Stavros Xarchakos will take place on Sunday 23 August at 21:00 in the New Park of Florina. The President of the Republic , Prokopis Pavlopoulos , who love the institution of "Prespes" changed his own program to attend the night in Agios Ahilleios!At the same event , will attend the Minister of Culture Mr . Nikos Xydakis .

SATURDAY 22 AUGUST 2015 , Agios Ahilleios

The evening is dedicated to the memory of Theodoros Angelopoulos who left and got footprints from Prespa

Time 20:40 

The President of the Republic Mr . Prokopis Pavlopoulos and the Minister of Culture Mr . Nikos Xydakis will arrive at Agios Ahilleios.Tour at the sacred space of the Basilica from the archaeologist.  Nikolaos Moutsopoulos .

"Arxaio Aima" (Ancient Blood)

A show directed by Sofia Spyratou,and texts by Kostas Georgousopoulo,selected from ancient tragedies of Aeschylus , Sophocles and Euripides .The original music is signed by Stavros Xarchakos .The tragic heroines embody : 

Lida Protopsalti (Ekavi) , Alexandra Sakellaropoulou (Klitemnistra), Mania Papadimitriou (Ilektra) and Vicky Papadopoulou (Kassandra). The dance of the five women are Iro Saia(top) and the actors Chloe Mantzari , Dominiki Mitropoulou , Zoi Milona and Antigoni Frida.

The show lasts one hour and five minutes .

Part two

Time 22:40 

Concert with Savina Yannatou and Primavera en Salonico.

Savina Yannatou gives her own mark on the "Ladies of the Lakes". She sings for the Balkans and Mediterranean. The songs run the fauna and flora of all the neighboring peoples . They express the woman from the primitive years. The woman who loves the peace, who does not want the war, who loves the life and wants to beautify people with the joy , the song , the love and the creation.

Great folk concert of Stavros Xarchakos
The " Ladies of the Lakes " is the timeless look over the women of lakes who have written their own history through the ages , in different countries and at different times .The look of Stavros Xarchakos crosses in great depth and with complete transparency in Greek culture. Stavros Xarchakos has written great songs  which celebrates and explores the secret world of women , which often coincides with the countries : Women - Countries .
Many songs Xarchakos is ambiguous and allegorically , with the final report allways "Greece" ( "My Mother Greece" ) .
Performers of the concert are Iro Saia and Zacharias Karounis .
Both are endowed with elements of tradition,and the heraldic transformations of our songs. In the concert will also participate atwelve- folk orchestra
